Future expectation
Now I'm studying IT for Business in CityU Scope. In this year, I have studied 3 modules: 119COM Current Technology, 121COM Introduction to computing and 126COM Business Decision Making. These courses help me to prepare for my career in the IT industry. In 119COM, the course helps me to know more about IT knowledge such as wireless systems or hardware & software in a computer. In 121COM, the course helps me improve my Python coding skills, also knowing more about XML, JSON, EGit and GitHub. In 126COM, the course helps me to know the basic concepts of accounting and finance, such as calculating financial ratios and reading financial positions.
In the future, I am going to learn more about IT knowledge, such as IOS system, computer's software, and cloud computing. Also, I am going to study a new programming language, maybe Java or C++, and keep on learning Python's complex concepts. I believe these goals can help me to develop as a professional.
In today's market, being a programmer might be my prospective career choice. As nowadays there is a shortage of workers in the IT industry, Hong Kong IT market is now having a huge demand for programmers. Therefore, being a programmer can have lots of job opportunities. To reach this target goal, I will try my best to continue studying different programming languages at school or home, to prepare myself in the next three or four years.
